2/18/02 - Customer Engines to be Displayed at SAE Congress Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, February 18, 2002 - OPTIMUM Power Technology is proud to announce that several engines developed by VIRTUAL ENGINES customers will be on display at our booth for SAE World Congress, Detroit, March 4th-7th (booth #2563). The engines are: 1) A 1.8L Turbocharged 4-cylinder four-stroke, designed and manufactured by Advanced Engine Research Ltd, for the MG Le-Mans car which debuted at the prestigious endurance race in 2001. 2) A Bombardier's special armed forces 50hp outboard marine engine. This special armed forces package includes a pump jet propulsion system. Clearly visible in the cut-away is the "folded megaphone" exhaust system designed using Virtual 2-Stroke®.
