but this equipment has also been put to use to create the best maps we think you'll find.
Cannondale
agrees, and has chosen to include our GP Control® fuel-injection system in all 2002 motorcycles and ATVs.
This system features new hardware, including a flash memory-programmable SAGEM
MC1000 ECU (Engine Control Unit), and software including a base fuel-injection map
tuned exclusively for Cannondale's radical 432cc four-stroke engine.
Imagine you have an Engine Management system that can be used on your current bike and
the bike you plan to buy next year? Or the year after that? Even if it were from a
different manufacturer?
That's the idea behind GP Control's modular system design. GP Control is not a simple
replacement ECU. It is a complete kit providing ECU, wiring harness, and sensors.
Our ECU is the same high-tech brain box found on the new Triumph 600 and 955
motorcycles. We have taken this box and tweaked it for performance applications,
added storage for up to three maps, and added special access to all map
values.
All GP Control kits come with our exclusive Rider Trim dash This powerful tool allows
the Rider to switch between maps, modify the values in a map, and monitor, via LED
display, system parameters. All this control is provided at your fingertips in an
ergonomic handlebar configuration and all changes can be done in real-time - while the
engine is running!
The Rider Trims dash is only one way to re-program our ECU. GP Control kits include PC
software that allows you to manipulate individual map values and download new maps
directly to the ECU. The software is fully Windows-compatible and can run on most PCs.
We include a download cable and a manual that guides you through the program's screens
as well as provides tips and tricks on a better setup!

That's why
we developed a Pocket PC version of our PC calibration program. These
small devices are perfect for field use and allow you to perform modifications to all
calibration maps just like a full-sized PC. They fit in your pocket and can also store
your friend's phone numbers when you call them after you've won the race!
